Our Roots: A Legacy of Seaweed, Soil & Sustainability

Our journey begins in the north of Scotland, where
generations of farmers have used organic seaweed fertiliser as a natural fertiliser to enrich their land. Long before “organic” was a household word, this nutrient-dense marine resource helped grow thriving crops and support healthy livestock.

Growing up with this rich seaweed heritage, I saw first-hand
how kelp extract transformed soil and improved plant health. When I moved into modern gardening, I was surprised to find how little this incredible seaweed fertiliser resource was being used in everyday products.

That realisation sparked a mission—to bring the
benefits of seaweed fertiliser to gardeners everywhere.
